2. Principles
We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide this website and handle your requests. This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies, no analytics services, no embedded maps, videos or social media content, and does not load fonts or scripts from third parties.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, the host processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser and operating system, referrer) in server log files in order to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
4. Request form and contact
If you contact us via the form, by email or by phone, we process your details (for example name, company, email, phone, country, information on the testing task and uploaded documents) to handle your request and prepare a quotation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Details are checked on the server; to prevent abuse we limit the number of requests per sender and use an invisible check field instead of a captcha service. Uploaded files are checked for permitted file types and size.
5. Retention
We delete requests once they have been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. If a request leads to an order, the retention periods under commercial and tax law apply.
6. Further analyses through a partner laboratory
If further analyses (for example SEM/EDX or FTIR) are coordinated through an accredited partner laboratory, we only pass on the information required for the order, after agreement with you.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
8. Encryption
This website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS).
