Technical cleanliness and residual contamination testing services
As a DAkkS-accredited testing laboratory, we support companies in automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology and industry in testing technical cleanliness according to VDA 19.1, ISO 16232 and OEM and customer factory standards.
Testing of particulate contamination on parts, assemblies and technical components: extraction, gravimetric evaluation, optical classification and documentation as required by the standard.
In addition to VDA 19.1 and ISO 16232, TecClean regularly carries out residual contamination and cleanliness analyses according to OEM, factory and customer test specifications. Many of these manufacturer-specific requirements are methodically based on the principles of technical cleanliness according to VDA 19.1 or ISO 16232 and are implemented according to the applicable test specification.
From plastic and metal parts to electronic components and battery systems, complete assemblies and process and bath samples from industrial cleaning processes.

Parcel-sized samples
Is your sample suitable for our express service?
Simply send your components as a parcel. For compact components and test lots we offer lean, direct processes. Parcel-sized samples can be processed particularly quickly and efficiently.
under 15 kg per sample or test lot
smaller than 700 × 400 × 400 mm
easy to ship as a parcel
test requirement according to VDA 19.1, ISO 16232, an OEM or factory standard
technical feasibility confirmed
For suitable parcel-sized samples we offer, after technical consultation, express processing within 1 to 2 working days. The day of delivery is not counted. This requires a sufficiently clarified test scope and available test equipment and capacity. We confirm feasibility before we confirm the order.
Larger or heavier components
Larger or heavier components can generally be tested as well. We agree feasibility, handling, test method and processing time with you individually, as well as the extraction method, test area, transport and packaging. We cannot promise express processing for these across the board.
Four steps to your test report
Send a request, ship the sample, receive the report.
01
Send your requirement
Share the component, drawing, limit value, standard or customer requirement.
02
Clarify feasibility and scope
Together with you, TecClean determines which test scope is required and technically feasible.
03
Ship the parts
Send the sample or test lots to TecClean, securely packed.
04
Testing and report
TecClean carries out the agreed analysis and provides the test report.
For suitable parcel-sized samples: optional express processing within 1 to 2 working days. The day of delivery is not counted.
If the drawing or purchase order states VDA 19.1 or ISO 16232, that is the basis. For a factory standard we test to that specification. If you are not sure, choose “Not sure, please advise” in the form.
What does a residual contamination analysis cost?
That depends on test scope, component, number of samples and processing time. You receive a quotation once the scope is clear.
Which components does TecClean test?
Plastic and metal parts, electronic components, battery systems, complete assemblies and process and bath samples from industrial cleaning processes.
Do you have a special requirement?
We support you with questions on technical cleanliness, residual contamination analysis and customer-specific test requirements.
